The Santa Fe New Mexican: Making Math Fun

A group of seven teens sit at a table with green and white checkerboards between them. They are moving and stacking small red plastic cups around the boards. There are four girls and three boys, two of the girls are wearing glasses.

The Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival at Santa Fe Community College brought together approximately 180 sixth and seventh graders from El Camino Real Academy, Nina Otero Community School, Milagro Middle School and the Academy for Technology and the Classics with professionals from local labs and STEM organizations.
