Archivist and Event Planner
Catherine Messina has worked in Marketing and Events for the past three years–serving a range of organizations both for- and non-profit. Most recently, she planned Mathapalooza! to lead off the Atlanta Science Festival. There were over 1,000 attendees during this four-hour event. Originally from Philadelphia, she received her bachelor’s degree from Emory University where she studied sociolinguistics and dance and movement studies. There, she became interested in marketing, event planning, organization, and leadership, handling the PR and ultimately becoming president of the student-run dance company on campus and her sorority. She currently lives in Atlanta, GA, where she also dances professionally.
